Blog Break
Hi,
Wanted to let you all know that I'll be taking a blog break for a little while. My out-of-town client is flying in, and I will be very busy with him. In a business kind of way.
When I come back, I'll be using my new laptop! Yay! This old dinosaur that I'm using now is ridiculously slow and is taking all the joy out of the internet! If you know of anyone in central Florida who wants for a free --and slow-- PC, just leave a comment on my blog.
I'll still be reading all of your blogs (ahem--except Maureen's, because she still doesn't have one-- hint to Maureen!) I won't be commenting on ChayyeiSarah's or EmahS', because your blogs aren't allowing me to. Grrr... But I assure you, I will be reading them, and wishing I could put in my two cents! Just so the authors know, I've written many a witty comment on the aforementioned blogs, which unfortunately didn't publish! :(
Of course, I'll be keeping up with Baleboosteh's and Evan's blogs, too! And even though they don't read mine, I'll keep reading Yael's and Eugene's blogs, as well as many others!
As you can see, I finally learned how to hyperlink! Next, I'll learn how to blogroll.

Y-I've found that if you cannot comment, the best thing is to click OTHER down below the comment block and proceed as directed.
As for your dinosaur computer, call the local Jewish Day School or JCC Senior center. They would love the donation and you would get a tax write off!

Yaakova my dear blog friend, I do have a blog! I ended up with one when I tried to make my first comment on my cousins in Jan. of 2005! I have not posted on it since then! 4 strangers have, but I haven't! I will start to update it, starting tomorrow. I am exhausted tonight. I started a new job today and it has taken it's toll on my old bones. It is times like this I wish I had a garden and therefore a gardener!!
Enjoy your break and I will keep checking in to see if our other blog friends have posted and to say hi to your mom! Hi MOM!

Hey, good luck with your new laptop! You won't know yourself with a new computer, it will be so much faster.
About blogrolling is really quite easy, have you even been to blogrolling.com? They have fairly easy to follow instructions, you should do it because it means you have more links which means you come up in more searches which means more visitors who read your blog.... ah, I hope you followed that.
Anyway have a nice blog break.

Oh my goodness, what will I do without my blog friends for a week or two!! I'll miss you guys, with your great comments!

Maureen- Yes, I knew that you had a blog that you weren't writing in.. Can't wait to read more, especially about your new job! For foolproof gardening, you could always try a chia pet!! ha ha :)

Baleboosteh- Thanks so much for the tips on blogrolling! Bagel Blogger has also recently requested to be blogrolled in funny comments, so he and my other great commentors definitely deserve to be blogrolled!

OK, my friends, I am an official blog bomb. I tried to add to my own blog and I have no idea how to do it! HELP!!! Also, what is blogrolling? I guess I am more of a blog follower then leader.
Yaakova, I tried a chia pet and the ASPCA took it away from me for cruelty to fake animals. Even my silk plants don't do too well! I may even maim the gardener (if he's lucky!!!)

Deyl- I've been preparing for his visit for 7 weeks now, and have worked on potential purchases for him 9 hours so far today. So I hope it goes well, too!!!
Maureen- Do not feel pressure to post in your blog just because I was teasing you. :) But if you would like to post, here's how you do it: log on to blogger.com with your screen name and password; go to the "dashboard" (I think); Click where it says something like "Create a new post"; then a screen will come up for you to fill with words. (Preferably NICE words!) Don't forget to click on "publish post" at the end, and log out. The main thing is to not get intimidated. Don't worry, you can't kill Blogger.com! (Since it's not a plant!!) haha!
Pardon my humor-- it's late, and I'm getting punchy. It's obviously way past my bedtime. :)

Can one of you explain something to me, please? Last night I added a new top post to my blog and there were even some new comments. This evening when I tried to get back onto my blog, it was back to the same old "old" blog it had been. Where'd everything go? (Yaakova, maybe I kill blogs AND plants! OY)Could it be my computer? Not knowing how old Yaakova's old computer is, I would venture to guess that mine makes hers seem like an infant.
Any advice? I will keep trying.
